Child's play
He chased me through the rain, 'Honey, I'm going your way.' I don't think so. You can chase me through the rain, Scream my name, a childish game, But I love to be young. And honey I was never gonna change, And honey you are never gonna change, But you love, don't you love it that way. Old stone, Ten thousand years and you're still on your own. Don't you love, But you love it that way. And if you swear that you're alright, I'm not gonna try and change your mind. Cause the same night I dream that I lose you I'll fall in love And oh honey don't let me walk away from this If I'm trying to fuck up my own life, Then until I figure out why, I think it's best you keep your distance Lest I fall in love. Old stone, Ten thousands years and you're still on your own. But you love, Don't you love it that way. He chased me through the rain. 'Honey I'm going your way.' I don't think so. You can chase me through the rain, Scream my name, a childish game, But I love to be young

Well...that just about said it all.
Mildly morose today.

Fuckyeah, acid wash
(Leah: Steve Madden heels, Cheap Monday acid wash jeans, black v-neck and jewelry from Forever 21) (Samm: White tank and black oxford style heels from Forever 21, leggings, hand made necklace)
Like I said, I did happen to miss the wonderful 500 Days of Summer with Samm and Leah. However, on the brighter side, they managed to snap a couple of really good photos during the day. I couldn't resist in putting them up, because they both looked fabulous. Pretty sick.

Rage
"I hate it when a guy tries to flirt with you and you smell like sweat and you’re wearing the shirt you slept in and haven’t seen your hair in the mirror and not only that, but you’re not even interested, but someone is giving you this smile like the entire day was devoted to you. And even then, I’m like no thank you, not today, not tomorrow, I just want to go now. Only I’m not sure which way I’m going or if it’s taking me anywhere at all."

Generally specific
I decided to hell with it, and took normal, shit quality pictures with my web cam. I am absolutely in love with my new necklace. I'm going to make this a regular thing, I think. Finding D.I.Y. projects that really pique my interest and, well...doing them myself.
Sounds spectacular.
I'm tired today.
Hopefully Samm and Leah get here soon with my coffee.
My friends are awesome.

D.I.Y.
So tonight I stumbled upon one of the most creative D.I.Y. projects I've ever seen. A fellow blogger by the name of Lady Smaggle tends to go through leggings and stockings quite frequently, and after the demise of her favorite pair of yellow leggings she decided to do something creative with them. So she cut them up and made one of the most badass necklaces I've ever seen!
I thought this was such a great idea and decided to make my own!
Unfortunately, my camera isn't working so I can't take a picture. But I will once I get the chance!
Regardless, you should check it out and make your own. It is now and officially one of my favorite accessories.

Oh yes
Among other things.
Lately I can't get a certain thought out of my head...
Mainly it's the fact that most people could care less about the way they're dressing themselves.
It seems like nobody puts time and energy into what they wear anymore. And it's not about being hip or trendy. It's about presenting a strong, confident personal image.
When a person feels good about how they present themselves to others they are bound to be successful in life. What is so wrong about throwing a little creativity into the picture?
Now, when a person actually cares about what they're wearing and gets slapped with labels like "vain" and "materialistic"... I have a SERIOUS problem with that. You do not have to be rich in order to dress decently, first of all, so that accusation is complete crap.
Second, if certain people want to wear mass produced generic clothing and blend in with the rest of the world, then by all means, be my guest.
But do not criticize the few confident people who are bold enough to be unique and stand out in this world.
That was my little rant for the day.
Now if you'll excuse me, there is a 3 cheese quesadilla with pico calling my name.

Sterling
Wheelin' & dealin'
It started with a couch.
It's almost two o'clock in the morning, and I should be asleep. Instead my ass is planted on my dad's Italian leather couch.
It's nice when you first sit down. Cold and refreshing. But like everything in Arizona, the feeling quickly melts away with body heat.
My legs are now tightly suctioned to the leather. Quite an uncomfortable feeling I might add.
Today was productive. Got a new slouchy tan sweater from Old Navy, surprisingly.
Bargain shopping at it's finest.
